Software Developer - Remote

£70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established data analytics business who deliver market leading software solutions to the Fintech sector. The business is expanding, and they are now looking for a passionate Software Developer with JavaScript (React) experience to join their team. You will be creating data-driven products and financial software solutions for a range of esteemed clients.

You will be joining a team of 10 developers, working in an Agile and collaborative environment. You will work mostly remotely (once a month visits to the office in Central London is required).

Experience Required:

• Experience with JavaScript, ideally React (will consider Angular or similar framework)
• Solid grasp of OOP, software architecture, design best practices/patterns
• Good skills in web front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, etc
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL including data modelling, SQL scripts, store procedures
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Degree in Computer Science or another quantitative area (e.g. maths, physics, engineering)

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Python
• Experience with API's & Micro-services, including areas such as GraphQL
• Experience with full-stack development and devops
• CI/CD
• Experience with the Cloud (Azure AWS, GCP)
• Experience working on large-scale, complex projects
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
