Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager opportunity working with a leading B"B software platform company. You will be expected to lead a team of Product Engineers through end-to-end client facing projects. As the Engineering Manager you will have a 50/50 split between hands on deliverables and management responsibilities.
The successful Engineering Manager should be a capable, hands on engineering leader who is eager to bring continuous growth to the team and company as a whole.

Responsibilities;
* Management and tech leadership of an Engineering team
* Partnering closely with our frontend and solutions engineers, scientists, our ML stack and the product team to define and build new releases
* Using Python to lead full scale projects
* Studying a colleagues' pull request to make sure code quality stays efficient

Key Skills;
* Experience managing and mentoring engineers (teams of 2+ engineers)
* Proven experience as a software engineer (coding, design and problem-solving skills)
* Knowledge of Machine Learning and NLP would be ideal
* Python experience
* Management communication capabilities
* Experience delivering software using an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodology
