Job Description

Established consulting company with proven publication track record and exciting new health technology platform is looking to grow to the next level with the help of an outstanding Senior Analyst, Health Analytics Solutions in their Boston Back Bay location.
They have a next-generation healthcare data analytics platform to help improve the quality and efficiency of medical care that focuses on real analytics and enables organizations to perform rapid analysis across disparate data sets. What used to take weeks to months can now be done in hours or days!
Provide ongoing analytic and scientific advising to address customers' research questions
Develop and implement health outcomes and epidemiology studies
Develop and present seminars and workshops for sales and training
Collaborate with engineering and product management team to define the product roadmap and support the deployment of new platform features (new product features, template build outs)
Conduct research & development projects that employ innovative data sources or methodology with the goal of publication
Train our customers (internal and external) in understanding major health care data sets and using the platform to accomplish their goals
Develop effective training, documentation, and marketing materials
Mentor analysts on statistical methods, research design, and data analysis
Lead the research question generation, protocol development, project build out, and presentation for sales demonstrations and trainings
Serve as scientific advisor on outcomes, epidemiology, and market access projects
Develop and implement strategies for the long-term adoption and growth of the platform

Required Skills:
Deep understanding of health care databases (e.g., claims, EHR, hospital, registry) and the pros/cons of various sources
Experience in conducting a range of real world health research studies (e.g., retrospective database analyses, cost effectiveness, comparative effectiveness)
Strong background in research methodology and study design
Excellent at working with internal and external customers
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
Focus on attention to detail
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills to engage with multiple customers on a variety of use cases
Entrepreneurial spirit, drive, and work ethic

Master's or PhD in relevant area (e.g., health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics)
2 - 7 years of combined experience in outcomes research, health economics, epidemiology, or directly related field
