Job Description

The role will lead the development and implementation of the ECP Payroll module of the new SuccessFactors global HR system. The initial focus is on the deployment of payroll in North America (USA and Canada)

Role: SuccessFactors ECP Workstream Lead

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 - 14 months initial

Location: Remote with travel to the US

Rates: £550 - £600 per day outside IR35

The role:

  • Leading the design of best practice new processes for the payroll module, following the direction of the Process Owner (Director Shared Services, North America)
  • Working with key stakeholders across the business to ensure understanding of and support for the future process
  • To support the successful implementation of these new processes and technologies into the business to realise target benefits
  • Note: many of the key business stakeholders for the first 12 months of this programme are based in the USA timezone. Hence this role will require flexible working hours to be able to work effectively with these stakeholders.

Skills and experience:

  • Recent experience of implementing SuccessFactors ECP Payroll, ideally in an international organisation. Recent experience of deploying ECP into USA and Canada is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of best practice processes and policies in the Payroll functional area
  • The ability to be open minded and have a progressive attitude towards improvement in future solutions and ways of working
  • A credible and respected advocate of future best practice and service improvement
  • Excellent Stakeholder management skills with the ability to gather, understand and assimilate the needs and opinions of a wide range of stakeholders and the ability to facilitate diverse groups and influence and persuade stakeholders to converge and agree on common future process and policy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment, with challenging deadlines that must be met and competing demands on one's time.
  • High level of personal resilience and a to implement change
  • Understanding of Project management methods and tools
