Threat and Vulnerability Consultant

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Location: UK Wide (Fully remote during covid)

A leading Information Technology company are looking to expand their rapidly growing Cyber Security Consultancy practice by bringing in a dedicated Threat and Vulnerability Management Consultant. The role will sit within the larger consulting team, providing SME level advice, as well as solutions based around vulnerability and threat management.

The opportunity will give you access to work with technologies at the forefront of vulnerability and threat management, specializing in an area of security that is becoming ever more important. As part of an already successful practice, you will be working on complex transformational projects with some of the largest corporate organizations globally.

What you will do:

  • Work as the SME for the vulnerability and threat management processes and platforms, providing solutions tailored to client's business needs.
  • Deliver complex cyber security projects with clients in multiple industries, ensuring vulnerabilities and threats are being remediated through constant improvement of platforms and processes.
  • Work directly with stakeholders presenting technical solutions in a non-technical manner to achieve buy in from the organisation.
  • Work on projects throughout the entire life cycle from scoping, all the way through implementation and review.

The Person:

  • High levels of technical experience within one or more vulnerability management technologies including Tenable, Microsoft, McAfee etc.
  • Experience working within the vulnerability management lifecycle.
  • 3-5 years' experience working with security operations tools as well as the ability to translate these tools to key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • General knowledge of endpoint protection concepts.
