As UI/UX hybrid, you will be working on two e-com website projects - on tight deadlines - and for each your will:
create all the designs for all pages + interactions
build the Design System (guidelines)
prepare the detailed briefs to the developers
organise and run user testings (TBC)
YOUR CORE CAPABILITIES
You are first and foremost a designer of web products (desktop and mobile sites) with at least 6 years experience and a good balance between being a conceptual thinker and a detailed designer.
But you are a hybrid UI/UX. You are a firm believer of the importance of UX work and have experience across all phases of product design: from ideation, user flows and sitemaps creation, wireframing, user research, prototyping, design iteration, and high fidelity UI and specs.
You are an absolute master at Sketch
From UX wireframes, you make beautiful designs that are pixel perfect
Not only you create the main designs of pages (default state) but also their different versions/states (interactions, font states, hover states…)
Graphic design fundamentals (typography, colour theory, layout, etc.) are second nature and you are building your Atomic Design Guidelines alongside your page designs.
You are experienced in creating end-to-end journey prototypes (using Marvel, Principle or InVision)
You are experienced in research and user testing using sites like "what users do" (for instance)
You have experience in creating briefs for the developers (including user stories and specs) and work with them to implement designs/prototypes into code
You understand business requirements and objectives and help clarify them for others. You are able to understand detailed requirements and to design a complete user experiences that meet the project needs and vision.
You know how to present your designs in a compelling way and can also run engaging and productive feedback sessions/workshops with key stakeholders.
You don't hesitate to reach out and collaborate with other parts (agency, copywriter, developers, strategists, specialists, brand and other stakeholders) to develop product requirements and deliver features
Align with key stakeholders across different teams and markets/ brands and take on feedback and work collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcome
You are a nice person! You are empathetic, kind, and a good listener.
This is why you are able to easily adopt a user-centric approach and focus on understanding and delighting them
You are methodical, fast and have an extreme attention to detail: Your design files are super organised, your briefs to the devs never miss a detail and are always on time.
Are thoughtful and insightful. When facing a new project or challenge, you take the time to find a smart solution, rather than rushing into a quick fix
Able to manage multiple projects while sticking to deadlines
Proven ability to present and defend design decisions to colleagues and project stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial and persistent. A track record of being a self-starter/self-manager.
Yet, you are never afraid to ask for help or seek a second opinion
Humble. You not only listen to feedback but eagerly seek it out and are always looking for ways to improve. Are an enthusiastic collaborator and open to feedback.
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with others.
