Director of Business Development - Public Policy Consulting (Technology) - Washington, DC (Hybrid)

I have been engaged by the world's leading public policy consultancy focused on technology on a search for a development leader. The New Business team is the “tip of the spear” for our clients Go-To-Market strategy. Individuals in this team are tasked with securing new logos.

 

Role: Director of Business Development 

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid - 2 Days)

Compensation: $200-$250k Base + Commission (TBC)

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Convert viable prospects into active clients owning the full sales conversation and negotiation 
    process, collaborating with Practice Directors and Client Services peers, to ensure an effective 
    handover
  • Continually build a pipeline of opportunities to deliver against targets such as total contract value 
    and in year revenue
  • Leads the development of proposals or responses to bids and presents high quality pitches for 
    complex and/or high value opportunities

 

Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering successful revenue growth
  • Experience selling disruptive new products and services 
  • Extensive experience working alongside business leadership and consulting teams to leverage 
    their respective personal brand channels and grow revenue
  • Analytical and financial acumen in building and delivering successful new business development
    models, with associated risk parameters
  • A compelling communicator or storyteller. Able to convey gravitas and exert influence with 
    internal and external audiences, clients, and partners.

D365 Support Engineer

My client is seeking a 1st Line Support Engineer to join their IT support team, focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) specifically within the manufacturing modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for D365 F&O user issues, primarily within manufacturing-related modules
  • Log, triage, and resolve support tickets in line with SLAs
  • Escalate more complex issues when needed
  • Support business users with navigation, transaction errors, and workflow issues in F&O

My Client are looking for a Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant to support a key CRM transformation project, migrating from HubSpot to Dynamics 365. This is for an initial 6 month contract opportunity to start ASAP.

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Functional Consultant with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, specifically in the sales module.
  • Experience in CRM migrations, ideally from HubSpot
  • Strong understanding of Field Service processes including scheduling, resource management, and mobile capabilities.
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus.
