A Series A stablecoin payments company is seeking a Head of Compliance to join them in NY. 

The Head of Compliance will assume primary responsibility in implementing a best-in-class compliance program, ensuring adherence to international, federal, and state regulations while proactively managing risk by establishing effective controls.

Essential Skills:

  • Prior fintech/banking leadership experience in a compliance role, with experience building a compliance program from the ground up
  • Extensive understanding of regulatory compliance (BSA/AML/KYC/KYB/Sanctions/etc.) and experience in developing strategies to meet compliance requirements
  • Comprehensive understanding of payments and associated domestic/international compliance requirements (MSB/MTL/VASP/etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present compliance risks/requirements that impact broader organizational goals
  • Comfort with communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, legal, etc.
  • Regulatory knowledge of virtual assets, stablecoins, blockchain ledger technology (expertise preferred)
  • Familiarity with engineering/security compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC 2, PCI, etc.)

After the launch of its flagship product, a fast-growing scale-up is expanding its engineering capability and is looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to take ownership of its cloud platform and enable rapid, secure product delivery at scale.

MES Developer

I’m currently partnered with a US-based Food & Beverage Manufacturing company who are looking for an experienced AVEVA MES Engineer to join their Manufacturing Technology team on a permanent basis.

 

This is a hands-on position that will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying MES solutions using AVEVA Wonderware MES as well as customizing MES applications to align with the requirements of the manufacturing processes and operations across multiple locations. This person will be responsible for leading end-to-end projects, providing support/development opportunities to more junior members of the team, providing training across the business and creating documentation/training material for MES processes.

 

Key skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience working with AVEVA Wonderware (3+ years) – exposure to other MES platforms is useful too
  • Ideally will come from an F&B or CPG background – open to other manufacturing backgrounds
  • Ability to provide mentoring and development opportunities for more junior members of the team
  • Programming experience with SQL, C#, .Net, JavaScript
  • Strong hands-on experience with the ability to pivot within the role based on project and solution requirements

I’m currently partnered with a US-based systems integrator who are looking for an experienced MES Solutions Lead to lead the growth of their MES business across the LifeScience & Pharma Manufacturing space.

 

The MES Lead will work directly with customers to understand their objectives and requirements, then actively leading on the design, development and implementation of MES solutions. This role will be joining a small, but growing, team and will have the opportunity to build-out a team of experts around them whilst expanding the customer/client base through effective business development and expansion.

 

Key skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience as an MES expert (7+ years) with the ability to effectively create and implement solutions
  • Experience with PharmaSuite MES platform is ideal – it’s an added bonus if experienced with PAS-X, POMS, Syncade or Apprentice
  • Business development experience – includes bringing in new business and expanding existing relationships

About the role
Their building an ML-driven hedge fund focused on reshaping how trading decisions are made. We’re hiring our Founding Head of Engineering, the first engineering hire who will define our architecture, build the initial system, and act as both IC and product owner. You’ll work directly with the CEO, CFO, and Chief Scientist to create the technical backbone of our fund.


You’ll design and ship the first demo-able workflows, integrate with financial data providers, build reproducible pipelines, and create a thin UI layer that makes outputs usable for decision-makers and investors. Over time, you’ll help recruit engineers and data scientists as the company grows
 

Responsibilities:
• Own the architecture and development of Poesis’ first engineering systems: data ingestion, model/optimizer orchestration, and productization.
• Act as product manager: define workflows, release criteria, and usability standards in collaboration with leadership.
• Build reproducible pipelines and lightweight interfaces (CLI, dashboards, GUIs) for internal users and investor demos.
• Integrate various professional financial data providers (e.g., CapIQ, Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv).
• Establish team practices: sprint cadence, release process, versioning, and documentation.
• Mentor and coordinate future hires.
 

Required Competencies:
• 6–10+ years of software engineering experience, including senior/staff IC roles.
• Experience building data-intensive or quant systems from scratch.
• Strong systems design and API/interface definition skills.
• Fluency in Python and modern data tooling (pandas/numpy, SQL, orchestration frameworks).
• Track record of productizing research or analytics into usable tools (dashboards, GUIs, or internal products).
• Comfortable building robust systems that can execute real world trades with extremely high accuracy.
• Comfortable working directly with executives and acting as de-facto PM.
• Willingness to work in-person in the Bay Area; relocation support available.
 

Preferred Competencies:
• Prior experience with professional financial data providers (CapIQ, Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv).
• Familiarity with quantamental investing, portfolio optimization, or financial ML.
