I’m working closely with the CEO of an a16z backed company scaling the team with the first Marketing hire to lead the messaging to market. The company raised $9Mil in funding as a seed team and have already scaled working partnerships, successfully achieving PMF.
The comapny solves a growing issue in the delivered goods space by making a more accessible, cost effective and customized experience. Differently from monopoly good delivery companies like UberEats, DoorDash, etc. this company leverages a backend decentralized infrastructure to offer lower fees, more visibility, customization offerings, and reward incentives to the providers. They built and own the protocol that runs this decentralized physical infrasturcture network and are actively being used by providers across the Food, Restaurant, and Manufacturing markets.
The Role This is the first marketing hire, reporting directly to the CEO. You’ll be responsible for taking Palette Labs and its Local Protocol brand from stealth to scale, creating the voice, identity, and community that define the company. What You’ll Do:
• Build the brand from zero to one — craft the narrative, messaging, and visual identity that position Local Protocol as a leading crypto project.
• Own marketing end-to-end — brand marketing, product launches, PR, social, community engagement, and early crypto-native partnerships/funding announcements.
• Be hands-on — write copy, design campaigns, manage socials, pitch press, and run growth experiments without immediate team support.
• Create marketing infrastructure — content calendar, analytics, brand guidelines, and scalable processes.
• Lay the foundation for future scale — know when to bring on agencies or team members, and eventually build a marketing organization.
• Support adoption efforts — design creative campaigns that attract restaurants, onboard drivers, and excite local operators as co-owners of the network
Why Join
• Ownership upside — equity + tokens.
• Massive opportunity — rethinking a trillion-dollar industry, starting with food delivery.
• Founding seat at the table — first marketing hire, defining the voice of the core product
• Direct impact — report to the CEO, help onboard thousands of drivers and restaurants across the U.S., and shape how the world sees decentralized delivery

Requirements:
Extensive experience with SAP DRC, Tax, e-invoicing, and statutory reporting.
