Senior Verification & Validation Engineer
Do you want to define how the next generation of robots are tested, validated, and released?
Interested in building the testing standards and infrastructure that will define how autonomous robots are validated at scale?
One of our robotics partners is continuing to scale its autonomous robotics platform - and they’re looking for a Senior Verification & Validation Engineer to take ownership of the testing strategy across their robotics products.
This is a highly influential role sitting at the intersection of robotics, software, hardware, autonomy, and data. You'll be key in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of complex robotic systems, working across hardware, software, autonomy, and data capture.
You’ll establish the testing framework, build the gold-standard testing environment, define performance benchmarks, and ultimately be responsible for approving production software releases.
Your role:
- Own the overall verification and validation strategy across the robotics platform
- Develop and implement hardware and software testing procedures across multiple engineering teams
- Lead the establishment of a state-of-the-art testing environment for continuous robot testing
- Develop meaningful benchmarks to measure autonomy, data capture, and wider system performance
- Create repeatable testing standards that can be used across different teams and product areas
- Own the testing and approval process for production-grade software releases
- Establish streamlined workflows for software versioning and release management
- Implement a predictable release candidate cadence across the robotics platform
- Work cross-functionally to test new features, assess system performance, and validate bug fixes
This is more than traditional QA or software testing - you’ll help define the standards, infrastructure, and processes that determine whether autonomous robotic systems are ready for production.
Ideally you have:
- Strong experience in software and hardware testing, verification, validation, or quality assurance
- A proven track record of testing complex robotic or autonomous systems
- Strong knowledge of mobile robotics, autonomy, and data capture technologies
- Experience with test automation tools and methodologies
- Experience developing structured testing strategies, procedures, and performance benchmarks
- Strong understanding of software release processes and production-grade validation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across hardware, software, autonomy, and product teams
This is a senior-level opportunity to take real ownership of the verification and validation function within a growing robotics organisation.
Apply now for immediate consideration!
If you want to shape how autonomous robots are tested, validated, and released into the real world... then look no further. This is your chance to play a critical role in building reliable, production-grade robotics systems.
Staff Software Engineer (Distributed Systems)
Fully Remote
Package: Up to $500,000 (Salary + Tokens/Equity)
I’m excited to be working with an exceptional team who are building a decentralised marketplace for cloud compute, rethinking how global infrastructure is provisioned by enabling anyone to contribute unused compute into an open, permissionless network.
Their mission is to challenge traditional cloud monopolies by creating a resilient, open-source alternative designed to operate at global scale, leveraging decentralised architecture and blockchain-backed guarantees around reliability and security.
They’re now looking for a Staff-level Software Engineer to play a key role in designing and building the core systems that power this distributed cloud platform. This includes working on blockchain-backed reliability mechanisms, provider orchestration, networking layers, and operational pipelines that must remain robust under adversarial conditions, hardware heterogeneity, and real-world failure modes.
Working primarily in Golang, you’ll build and operate large-scale distributed systems on top of Kubernetes, collaborating closely with engineers across infrastructure, DevOps, and protocol teams. This role carries significant influence over architectural decisions, scalability strategies, and the long-term technical direction of the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build highly reliable distributed systems powering a decentralised cloud compute platform.
- Develop and operate production systems in Golang, with a strong focus on scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance.
- Contribute to provider orchestration, networking, and operations pipelines across a heterogeneous global network.
- Work closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and protocol teams on system design and cross-layer integrations.
- Drive architectural decisions and best practices across distributed systems and platform reliability.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems in production environments.
- Proficiency with Golang and experience working with Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of systems fundamentals, including networking, reliability, and security.
- Comfortable operating in open-source, remote-first environments with high ownership and autonomy.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, blockchain-based systems, or Kubernetes-native platforms is a strong plus.
This is a rare opportunity for a Staff-level engineer to join a highly ambitious project with real ownership over core infrastructure, meaningful influence on technical direction, and the chance to help build a decentralised alternative to traditional cloud providers at a global scale.
