This is an extremely exciting brand new role to report directly into the Chief Privacy Officer and assist with the leading of the data protection function globally, in one of the most exciting businesses in their industry.
The Role:
- Leading the privacy compliance programme and initiatives.
- Reviewing DPIAs.
- Working across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas to lead on engagement and alignment of the global privacy requirements.
- Leading a team of privacy specialists.
- Working extensively with stakeholders and with individuals of all levels to encourage privacy culture and engagement.
Requirements:
- Approx 8 years + experience in privacy, leading a global function (UK, EU, US and ideally Middle East and APAC too)
- Extensive and excellent stakeholder management skills, including c-suite and executive level.
- Experience leading a small team.
- Experience designing and delivering training and awareness, working with risk assessments and improving frameworks.
- YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A LEGAL QUALIFICATION FOR THIS POSITION.
- Experience with OneTrust.
- Bonus if you speak more than one language!
