This is a highly hands-on product engineering role where you’ll own features end-to-end across discovery, prototyping, development and production. You’ll work across frontend and backend systems while staying closely involved with the customers using what you build.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working directly with technical enterprise customers to understand product requirements
  • Turning ambiguous customer problems into clear, shippable features
  • Owning product features from discovery through production and iteration
  • Building across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations and AI workflows
  • Supporting customer implementations, POCs and technical adoption
  • Turning one-off customer needs into reusable platform capabilities
  • Writing production code across TypeScript and Python

What we’re looking for

  • 0–3 years of professional software or product engineering experience
  • Degree from one of the following universities: Stanford University, Harvard University, University of California, Berkeley, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Indian Institutes of Technology (all campuses), University of Pennsylvania, University of Waterloo, Columbia University, Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University, University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Yale University, University of Michigan–Ann Arbor, Northeastern University, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, or Technical University of Munich
  • Strong TypeScript and Python skills

  • Experience using AI coding tools as part of your daily development workflow
  • Strong product and design instincts
  • Comfortable working directly with technical customers
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and move quickly without detailed specifications
  • High level of ownership and strong communication skills
  • Degree from one of the company’s designated target universities

Experience with voice AI, realtime systems, LLM evaluations, observability or agent workflows would be beneficial but isn’t essential.

Experience with technologies such as React, Next.js, LiveKit, WebSockets, Pipecat, Vapi, Retell AI or ElevenLabs are nice to haves.

Why join?

  • Build infrastructure for one of the fastest-growing areas in AI
  • Join a business with 10M+ production calls analyzed and 10K+ agents tested
  • Work directly with major enterprise customers across regulated industries
  • Own features end-to-end from customer problem through production
  • Join a small, high-performance engineering culture shipping multiple times per day
  • $140k–$180k base salary plus competitive equity
  • Remote-first with approximately 10–20% travel
  • Join at a stage with real customers, production usage and revenue while still having significant influence over the product

Candidates must be based within North American time zones. Austin or San Francisco are preferred.

Lead Commercial Counsel
San Francisco, California, United States

We are partnering with a rapidly scaling, venture-backed AI infrastructure company to hire its first dedicated Commercial Counsel.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a lean legal team and take ownership of the commercial legal function as the company continues to scale. You’ll work closely with Sales/GTM, Product, Engineering and senior leadership, balancing a high volume of sophisticated transactions with the opportunity to build the processes, playbooks and systems that support the company's next phase of growth.

The Role

  • Own complex commercial and technology transactions from initial negotiation through execution.
  • Partner directly with Sales/GTM to help close strategic enterprise customers while balancing commercial objectives with legal risk.
  • Draft and negotiate enterprise customer agreements, SaaS/API and technology licensing agreements, infrastructure and capacity arrangements, strategic partnerships, supplier/procurement agreements, data/content licensing and other commercial contracts.
  • Build the commercial legal function's infrastructure, including templates, negotiation playbooks, contracting processes, CLM and AI-enabled legal workflows.
  • Advise cross-functional teams on issues involving privacy, data protection, IP, AI, security and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Support sophisticated infrastructure and technology relationships involving cloud, compute, data centers and other strategic providers.
  • Manage outside counsel and legal service providers as needed.
  • Operate as a highly hands-on individual contributor while helping shape the longer-term commercial legal strategy.

What We’re Looking For

  • JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
  • 8+ years of relevant legal experience.
  • Strong commercial and technology transactions background, ideally combining law firm training with in-house experience.
  • Experience within a high-growth technology, AI/ML, developer platform, cloud infrastructure, SaaS or similarly technical business.
  • Proven experience negotiating sophisticated enterprise technology transactions across both the buy and sell side.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS/software licensing, APIs, IP, privacy and data protection.
  • Experience partnering directly with Sales/GTM, Product and Engineering teams.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where you will be expected to personally execute the work while simultaneously building the function around you.
  • Commercially minded and able to make pragmatic decisions in situations where there isn't an established playbook.
  • Cloud infrastructure, compute, GPU capacity or data center agreements
  • AI/ML or developer infrastructure
  • Model, content, data or open-source licensing
  • Privacy and cross-border data matters
  • Hardware, supply chain or procurement transactions
  • Building a commercial legal function during a period of significant company growth
  • Implementing CLM, contracting automation or AI-enabled legal workflows

This is not a traditional commercial counsel role within an established legal department. You'll have the opportunity to build the commercial legal function from the ground up, work directly with senior leadership and play a meaningful role in how a rapidly growing AI company sells, partners and scales.

There is also significant potential for the scope of the position to grow alongside the business, including the opportunity to take broader ownership of the commercial legal function over time.

Head of Protocol
Zurich, Switzerland

I’m currently working with an early stage blockchain infrastructure company preparing for mainnet launch who are looking for a Head of Protocol Engineering to lead the design, build, and scale of a genuinely differentiated blockchain architecture.

This is a pivotal role reporting directly to the CTO, owning the core protocol stack and leading a small but highly capable engineering team. The business is building a new approach to on-chain data accessibility, removing the need for indexers and external query infrastructure through protocol-native architecture.

You’ll remain hands-on technically while driving engineering standards, roadmap execution, and team growth.

This is a rare opportunity to join at the right stage and shape both the technology and engineering culture of a protocol with significant upside.

Responsibilities

  • Own protocol engineering across nodes, storage systems, smart contracts, SDKs, and L2/L3 integrations.
  • Lead development of modified execution clients and queryable storage systems.
  • Drive performance optimisation across high-throughput distributed systems and database workloads.
  • Partner with the CTO on technical strategy, hiring plans, and roadmap execution.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers while staying close to the codebase.
  • Own protocol specs, developer tooling, and technical documentation standards.
  • Support production incidents where needed and continuously improve system reliability.

Requirements

  • Strong background in systems programming using Rust.
  • Deep distributed systems knowledge including consensus, replication, and failure modes.
  • Experience working on blockchain nodes, execution clients, or protocol-level systems.
  • Strong understanding of databases, storage engines, and query optimisation under load.
  • Previous leadership experience managing and growing engineering teams.
  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to lead while actively shipping code.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-moving environment.

If you’re an experienced protocol engineer or technical leader looking to shape a next-generation blockchain from the ground up, then click apply or get in touch directly.
